Privacy policy
The short version: we collect what you give us on the form and what a normal website sees, we use it to respond to you and evaluate whether debt settlement fits, we share it only with the providers that help us do that, and we don’t sell it.
1. Scope
This policy covers vertexresolution.com (the “Site”) and the information Vertex Resolution LLC (“Vertex”, “we”, “us”) collects through it. If you become a client, the written agreement you sign will describe how information is handled inside a program, and that agreement controls where the two differ.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details on the form: full name, email address, phone number, and state.
- Your estimated unsecured debt range and anything you choose to write in the message field.
- The consent you give to be contacted, along with the time, the page, and the exact wording you agreed to. We keep that record so we can show what you agreed to and when.
- Anything you tell us on a call or by email afterward.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data every website receives: IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the site that referred you.
- Campaign tags in the URL you arrived on (for example, which ad or platform brought you here). We store these in your browser for up to 90 days so a later visit is still credited to the right campaign. They contain no personal details.
- Analytics and advertising signals described under Cookies and pixels.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and evaluate whether debt settlement is a realistic fit.
- To provide services if you enroll, including opening and administering a dedicated account and negotiating with creditors.
- To contact you by phone, text message, or email, in line with the consent you gave.
- To measure which campaigns bring people to the Site and to improve it.
- To keep records the law requires, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect our rights.
4. Contacting you
When you check the consent box on the form, you give Vertex express written consent to contact you at the number you provided, including by autodialed calls, prerecorded messages, and text messages, about debt settlement services. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw consent at any time: reply STOP to any text, tell us on a call, or email privacy@vertexresolution.com.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it in these situations:
- Service providers that host the Site, store form submissions, send email or text messages, or help us run the business. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
- Our servicing partner. If you move forward, we share your information with [servicing partner name], which administers enrollment, the dedicated account, and payment processing for programs.
- Creditors, when you have enrolled and we negotiate on your behalf.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or regulator, or to protect the rights and safety of Vertex, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers: if Vertex is sold or merged, information may transfer with it, subject to this policy.
6. Cookies and pixels
The Site itself sets no advertising cookies. We use your browser’s local storage for one thing: remembering the campaign tags described above.
We may add the Meta Pixel (from Meta Platforms, Inc.) to measure ads on Facebook and Instagram. When active, it lets Meta know that a browser visited this Site or submitted the form, and Meta may match that to a Facebook or Instagram account under its own privacy policy. It does not receive what you typed into the form. You can limit this with your browser’s cookie settings, Meta’s ad preferences, or a browser that sends the Global Privacy Control signal. [State here whether the pixel is currently active.]
7. Your choices
- Access and correction: ask us what we hold about you and to fix anything wrong.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your information. We may keep what the law requires us to keep, including consent records and program records.
- Opt out of contact: reply STOP to texts, or email us to stop calls and emails.
- Marketing signals: see the section above on limiting the pixel.
To exercise any of these, email privacy@vertexresolution.com. We’ll verify it’s you before acting, and we won’t treat you differently for asking.
8. California residents
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you additional rights. In the last 12 months we have collected the categories listed in section 2: identifiers, contact information, financial information you provide (debt range), internet activity, and inferences about program fit. We collect them from you directly and from your browser, for the purposes in section 3, and disclose them to the parties in section 5.
- Right to know what we collect, use, and disclose, and to receive a copy.
- Right to delete, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. If the Meta Pixel is active, sending visit data to Meta for advertising may count as “sharing” under California law. You can opt out by turning on the Global Privacy Control in your browser or by emailing us.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
Submit requests to privacy@vertexresolution.com. An authorized agent may submit on your behalf with written permission. We respond within the time the law allows, usually 45 days.
9. Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and access limited to people who need it. No method is perfect, and we can’t promise absolute security. We keep inquiry records for [retention period, e.g. 24 months] and program and consent records for as long as the law requires.
The Site is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email us and we’ll delete it.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the Site.
